Teri's Testimonial

Dear Bob and Son,

I am writing to thank you both for pushing so hard to finish our mother's headstone, with the blue heron on it. My brother, John, told me of the wonderful work you do... and I am very happy that our dear mom's stone is done at last. It was a year on February 7th since Claire passed away at her house in Rocky Point, Mexico. She truly loved the blue heron that swoops down by the beautiful water at her beach house. In fact, on May 1st of 2004, I had a most interesting experience involving a blue heron.

I had had lunch with my oldest daughter, Jennie, and her friend, Darshini, who is Indian (from India). They could see how very sad I still was about losing mom, and both prayed for a sign that day. I was resting that afternoon when my husband, Terry, came to get me, saying there was "this big bird in our front yard." Well, we live in San Jaun Capistrano, California, and have, for over 25 years. Never has a blue heron appeared here, but on that day, I opened the front door, and there it was... as big as a person. I knew it was my mom. The bird did not fly away, but walked across the street, to the neighbor's driveway, just looking around. Then it flew off, right over our roof. When I saw Jennie and Darshini that same night, I told the girls about my experience, and they both looked at each other. Then Jennie said, "We prayed for a sign today, mother."

Anyway, I thank you, and so does John, and all of our family, for the work you have done for us.
