It is very interesting doing custom work for families. You can really tell a story with pictures.
Many of our Native American friends have symbols that are dear to them. Some religious, some
portraying Indian Names, etc.
This picture shows feathers hanging from Indian Name which means "Hanging Eagle Feather". It also has a piece of art he drew on the back. The design along the sides was inspired by patterns seen in much of his artwork.
This monument was done for a man who belonged to the Peyote religion in Arizona. He spent much of his life on the Columbia River, so stone has Celilo Falls and Mt. Adams on the front.
The back has many symbols that represent his religion.
